The property was home to the famous architect and engineer Felice Matteucci who invented the first stroke engine (prototype of the modern day motor car) in his on-site workshop. He lived in the house from 1808 to 1887 where he conducted and achived his most important scientific researches. Today after a meticulous renovation it’s a charming Luxury B&B own by the Fanucchi family.
